ZAR
Zar is co-founder of Amsterdam Funk Channel. He has been using the pseudonym ‘ZAR’ since 1982, first as a notorious graffiti artist, and later in the radio world. However, many will also know the nickname from the football scene, at Ajax. Zar played at the famous and infamous “Radio Juul” (by Jules Jie R.I.P.) at the Da Costakade Amsterdam, “Blacklight” (Hoorn). Zar, together with Lesley Jones, co-invented the ‘Classic Sunday’ concept, and implements this widely respected concept at Amsterdam Funk Channel.
You can hear ZAR live every Sunday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the Amsterdam Funk Channel.
